Kazz LSD ???

After blowing up my diff. on the weekend.
I am considering the Kazz: It's suppose to be bulletproof,
And suppose to withstand 7000 rpm launches all day long.

But are there any negatives? I've heard it can be a noisy
unit... is this true? And how is the Kazz for road racing as well?

Can I install the upgraded axles in the future as well.
This unit and installing it is killing my bank account.
thanks for the replies. jack

It's KAAZ ... and it was made for road racing/drifting (not dragging).

But it works very nicely for dragging.

Only two bad points.

It's limited slip, so, small radius turns (like, say, a parking lot) are kind of "shuddery" and will squeel the wheels (which scares people in parking lots, oddly...).

And, yes, it will make noise. But, if you use the Kaaz diff fluid, it will only make noise for the first couple seconds of driving. Once it lubes up it's no louder than stock.

I beg to differ. The Kaaz was meant for drag racing too. All the big guys in Japan use it. Ray Locheed uses it and RX7.com uses it. And I use it. Its a great diff and will withstand any punishment you can give it. And it isn't noisy if you use only Kaaz diff fluid. When I used other diff fluid such as redline or amsoil, it will chatter slightly.
