nice car looks very clean, a stock pre-cat downpipe will not fit your car because the steering rack in the way.

Larger alloy intercooler
Apexi boost/fuel computer
AFR, oil temp, water temp guage
injector cleaning
pillow ball replacement
fuel pulsation damper replacement
rats nest silicone host replacement and vacuum test all solenoids like in a guide i saw (not sure by who though, the guy had a 92k FD and his fuel consumption went from 12mpg to 20 mpg after cleaning etc)

Is there anything anyone else can think of? or anything i need to be careful of? (i.e fitting a larger alloy intercooler without a fuel computer?)

Its just i know how finnicky these cars are and i dont want mine going pop as it already has a good few miles on it.
Out of your list, I'd forego the A/F, and oil temp gauges - no mandatory need for those. Boost and water temp. gauges are a must, however.

Injector cleaning? FPR replacement? What for? If neither are leaking, then no worries for now. And there's no reason to redo your vacuum lines if you have no boost issues.

An aluminum AST and a new radiator are prudent since your car now has 62K on the clock.

As a rule of thumb regarding power mods, you can run most of the bolt-ons (intake, pre-cat, cat-back exhaust, intercooler) provided you stay @ 10 PSI MAXIMUM BOOST. Run either a manual or electronic boost controller w/ those mods. If, at a later time you want to raise your boost level, then look into an aftermarket engine management system (i.e. A'PEXi Power FC).

The a/f, oil temp and water temp guage comes in one multifunction unit for £110.Worth it, IMO - will save money in the long run (although im not 100% sure what the accuracy is like) I already have a Blitz boost guage, although its in Bar - i want one in PSI.

Injector cleaning i want done to eliminate the possibility of dripping injectors, or any fuel related problems at all to be honest...The car is my daily driver, but i do have access to another car. As such i want to make sure it works right before i drive it every day. Fuel pulsation damper replacement in order to avoid possibility of an engine fire - this is recommended to be done about this mileage, is it not?

Vacuum lines i would like to redo as i do have some small boost issues when the engine is very hot (well, normal temp as far as i can see from stock guages, but when the cars been driven for a couple of hours plus it doesnt boost clean)

Boost controllers wise i was looking at the Apexi AVC-R or the HKS EVC. At the moment there is an HKS EVC used on ebay going for £50 so i will buy that if it doesnt increase much. If not i will go for the AVC-R as i can pick one of these up brand new for £220.

So basically, i want a FC/boost controller after fitting a new intercooler, right? but i can do Rad, air filters & precat replacement with no worries as long as i keep an eye on boost levels?

RHD fd's dont come with a pre-cat and you cant fit a stock pre-cat downpipe on a RHD fd so im just saying that whatever downpipe you buy make sure its for a right hand drive fd like HKS and not like the USA made downpipes.

If you have a Japan-spec downpipe, then I don't see any need to replace it unless you're finding it's a bottleneck - then the aftermarket has less restriction and weighs less. But it's nowhere near the issue the stock US spec pre-cat downpipe is. And I think it can't be a bottleneck until you try to run higher boost levels, so don't change it for now. Use the $$ for a couple new solenoids (both turbo control solenoids especially) or FPD or injector cleaning or ... other more important mods.

For tuning with the bigger intercooler, as long as you control the boost to 10psi, the car should have no trouble with it.

when i first got mine it had a downpipe, gutted cat, hkscarbon/ti hyper catback, efini y-pipe, power fc. . . and thats about it for power mods. . . i did 140 rather quickly on a sprint down the interstate. that was in 4th gear and it DID feel like it had more. . . AND i wasnt full throttle, because it bogged horribly at WOT. i dunno how much more it had. . . and i probably never will. i have not intention of going even THAT fast again.

my opinion. . . get the powerfc first. . . or get it all at once and have someone tune it for you. your car runs great now, so why not just buy all the parts one at a time or in small bundles and put them on when you can get the car tuned. dont waste money on tuning w/every mod, and dont hurt you car by putting things on there w/o proper tuning.
