Sweet pickup there, Charlie - congrats!

I remember you had a hard-on for that other CYM in Florida w/ ~30K-something miles that was posted in the forum classifieds back in late '03. (IIRC, you couldn't buy it because you first needed to sell your R2?) I was seriously considering that car too but couldn't find the time to fly out there to check it out so I ended up buying a low mileage '94 that came up locally.

I barely make it on those uhaul trailers with my FD, guess I will try backing it on like that next time. Any problems with backing it on?

Very, very nice CYM by the way.

how much did it cost to rent that trailer? I didn't know uhaul had those...I always do the dumb thing and just drive the cars back with a fake plate on them. My 7, I actually left at the guys house then came back and got it after I'd gotten insurance and registration...I really liked when I saw it had another couple of hundred miles on it...that was interesting

I just ran a carfax report on your car and it shows that it was sexually molested back in 1999 so if you want to get rid of it for this reason, I will be glad to take it off your hands.

jk nice car!

SpeedKing - you remember me well! You are absolutely correct about that CYM in florida back in late '03. Right after I bought my R2, two beautiful CYM's popped up for sale and I couldn't get rid of my R2 in time to check them out. Luckily there are still a few mint ones for sale and I just happened to find this one

widebody2 - UHaul has these trailers but they are hard to come by sometimes. I get online and you can plan the trip out and reserve your trailer there. it will find the trailer closest to the location you are picking up the car and they will call you to set it up. For a one-way trip, you get about 2 days with unlimited mileage. It cost me $113 without the optional insurance. (I didn't get the insurance)

|aFk| LiMiTz - I didn't see that on my carfax report!! what section was that under? haha

Thanks again guys, glad to see everyone loves the CYM as much as me I'll keep you all updated as she progresses through life, and I'm sure I'll be meeting up with a lot of you along the way!

Trailer for 24hrs is like $40 or $50.... one way longer trips are more(~$100). The trailers don't track mileage.

Find a nice storage spot for whatever stock parts you pull off of it because no matter what you do to modify a nice clean beast like that will only lower the value. Hopefully you and the previous owner are both at least non-incar smokers.

Thanks guys!

And don't worry TracyRX7, she's in the garage with a car cover on. Won't be coming out until it gets nice and warm outside! All the prev owners were non smokers, and it looks like she's been garaged all her lifre. That's not going to change any time soon

Nice FD, damn, got to send you the bill for a new keyboard.
Because I just drooled so much it is not drowned, your FD's fault /joke.

Anyways, yellow FD's are damn nice, wonder why Mazda ended that color on their later models?
Anyways, do some more nightshots of that FD with the same camera and lighting.
Because you got some beutiful shots there that I would love as my desktop wallpaper
