I just installed a Greddy SMIC & Elbow and now the no 2nd turbo does not kick in, does anyone have any idea of what I may have done during installation to cause this...

Do you have a boost guage?
How much boost are you getting?
Did you plug the line that was removed from your stock elbow?

 

yes I have a boost guage and yes I plugged the line that went into the original elbow

the boost was reading around 10.5 until around 4500 rpms when the 2nd turbo is supposed to kick in

after 4500 it decreases toward zero

I checked the charge relief valve and the hose is connected

by the way what is connected to the other end of the hose that was in the elbow? bypass valve??

 

it is the sorce of air for the cold start 3000rpm plug it or put a block off plate at the other end to rid your self of the ugly hose and plug

 

thanks guys...the problem's fixed...the cap I put on the hose was loose and sucking air
