Just installed diff brace
REVIEW
quality: welds are good, steel is certainly not stainless, it needs a protective coating of some sort, paint or powdercoating
construction: very stout, very strong construction
weight: it's way overweight, I do understand that it probably takes a very short amount of time to make one, but I'd rather make my own out of lighter materials with a more engineered approach
design: i think the idea of bracing something with the power plant frame bolts (14mm diameter studs) to some 12mm non structural bolts (the driveshaft/exhaust brace) is not my choice of design
because i do not like the construction or design of this piece, i'm goign to make my own, stay tuned for pics

vibration is trivial, the exhaust is being pushed up by the brace, so there is contact/rubbing, so when i hit certain exhaust tones, i can feel the resonance through the body
what this brace HAS shown me, is that i need to invest in better bushings/linkage in the rear and lots of my driveablity grimlins will go away
so in the spirit of the other items on my car, i have aquired a rusty old rear subframe, and will be sandblasting/powdercoating it this week hopefully
