Question Just installed boost gauge, questions

hey all,

just slapped an apex mechanical on my 93 R1. at WOT at full boost i get around .75x100kpa and it fluctuates around there, then at idle i get just under -0.5x100kpa. Does this sound normal? I have an HKS carbon-ti exhaust too. thanks.

The normal boost psi are 10-8-10.

I beleive fuel cut is 11lbs but that's just from memmory from another thread. Hopefully, someone that can confirm that as fact will also reply.

If you can limit it to 10lbs then you are better off or safer. The Home Depot boost controller is about $25 and 1/2 a saturday.

The fluctuation is a dip in boost when the trasition from single turbo to dual turbo happens.

10-8-10 = .68-.55-.68
allthough it may be easier to remember .7-.5-.7
