Just got y- pipe but having trouble installing?
I got all the intakes out of the way. I am also in the process of doing the vacuum line job. So the engine bay is stripped.
Is their a bolt or allen key in the back of the y- pipe. I unbolted the 2 bots that are connected to the turbo but I am affraid to pull on it. It doesnt want to come out easily.
Is thieir some thing I am forgetting? Or do I have to remove something else in order to get it out?
Thanks........

Do it from under the car. The same hole you would use to reach in for the DP. You need to remove the metal "intake" pipe to the second or rear turbo. It's the long one. The very short one is the front turbo. There should only be two nuts (i think). Then pull it out from on top. Then you can see what you are doing. You can wiggle the old y-pipe out. Use some oil or soluable sex lube on the new-oring when reinstalling (not vaseline).

You need to remove the air intake that runs to the rear turbo. There are two nuts that you need to get at from under the car. They sit just outboard of the pre-cat (downpipe). You then loosen the nuts that hold the front and rear half of the Y-pipe and pull the rear away from the front half.

Alright I got it done. I took the first 2 bolts out like I said before. Then took the heat sheild off which helped alot. Then took off one of the bolts in the rear. Couldnt even tell you which one it was cause I was doing it blind. I felt around and found it. It gave me enough room to pull it out. I never had to go under the car.
Thanks for the help would have taken much longer.....
