Just a Few Pics / 1 Year Later

I have owned my 93 FD for about a year now and finally got a chance to post a few pics. I purchased the car completely stock with 59k on the odometer and have probably put another 4k on her. Now that I think of it the ratio of cash spent in upgrades to miles is about $1.50 per mile. Not sure if that is bad or good. Ah, one of these days I will be satisfied by its performance.

Anyhow on to the pics.

Looks clean. I really like your interior. Good luck with your future mods.

It's actually just the way the sun is hitting the paint. I wish I could say it has been repainted, but I'm still working with the original VR.

LOL. I'm taking it way back with the Sony CDX-C510. The original owner had it installed in 96 according to the records he kept on the car.

Looks like you really take care of it, car looks cleeeeean! All those exhaust mods, are you running a boost controller? IMO give her a drop and intake and be done with it!

Don't get me wrong... I'm not "laughing" at it. I'm looking for a clean design headunit for my own car (a la Nakamichi).

Thanks for the info.

Thanks Kuroi! I definitely spend time keeping her clean…..maybe a bit too much time.

I have actually been relying on the Power FC to control my boost levels. So far it has been very reliable. I currently have the boost set slightly below stock with the response slightly under-damped.

I couldn't agree more with the drop. I have a set of H&R springs sitting in the garage now and I just need to get my hands on some struts. Tokico Illuminas most likely.

I usually use Mequiar products. Meguiar's gold glass typically works well.

Here is a quick engine pic while I was replacing the water pump, water lines, gaskets, and well a few other components.

I think the national average of cost per mile is about $0.32, but since we own FDs, we are an exception

HA. There are always exceptions to the rules especially when considering performance.

props to your FD... nice exterior and interior. Your camera is the same as mine... it doesn't capture the true red I am sure. It makes our paint look "yellowish".

Take care of her... I like the tasteful mods.

This is what I like to see when looking at an FD. Clean interior, a few pillar mount gauges and the engine compartment pretty much stock and clean with the seq. turbo system. This guy shouldn't have any problems selling this car in the future. Good job and keep them seq. turbos going. They work great as long as you can follow the vacuum diagrams at times.

I definitely appreciate all the compliments. I still have quite a bit in store for the FD, if everything continues favorable that is. All I need to do is hurry up and wait.
