Thumbs up just a few more weeks to go until she's done

My baby is almost road worthy.....just about a million more little things to do and she'll be ready

Here are a few of the latest pics i've taken.....these are about 2 weeks old. She has moved along a little farther since these

is that a feed type 1 front end? I can't tell how big the combo lights are. Is your car going to be silver or that other color?

The FEED type 1 front bumper is off of Tony's car and yes it's getting painted silver. I really like the color too but silver is my favorite. It's getting painted next week along with my AE86 (repainted).

I met Tony a little over a year ago when i bought this bumper from him. He had it for sale on the partstrader.....that's where we 1st started talking about my car and he told me that he had quite a few connections for the FD. He was and is a nice guy.....just a really bad business experience for me over there

Quickfini: thanks.....i'm hoping that it'll be show and lot's of go I've gotta beat all the Supra's here in town We've got quite a few bad boy's running around....not to mention one of my best friends Supra that we just finished putting a fully built motor in the other day.

Stevecod: thanks.....i'm hoping it will look as good to others as it does to me. I can't get enough of her.....i've got it bad.....i wake up in the middle of the night and go downstairs to get something.....always take a quick peep in the garage to check her out.

My latest thing was changing every nut and bolt on the whole car to brand new ones. Once you see them you'll understand why.....or maybe not

That looks sooooo nice. The Bronze really matches the color changing paint good. I hope to see it up and running soon.

I'm going to paint the hood......it's just the last thing that's getting done because of all the changes. I'm also getting the Cwest CF hatch as soon as i get a price from a friend. Everything takes so damn long ordering from overseas The car would've been done a long time ago but i've changed things around 10 different times before it's even on the road......anyone else do that or am i just weird?

The upper and lower intake should be done in the next couple of days at the porting shop.....then the intercooler pipes.....the 3 1/2" DP and exhaust......and a bunch of other stuff and she's ready to go It's been sooooooo long!!! The day she fires I'll probably

gordon: thanks for the kind words I've picked a similar paint to that you described to go on the AE86. I was going to go with a blue pearl but was told that it would wash. The FD is going to be factory silver....the paint is still perfect because it hasn't seen sunlight for about 6yrs. The footrest i got from Sleddriver (i think that's right). It's a very nice piece....i'm very happy with fitment and quality.

I'll PM you when i'm ready to finish the interior because I am looking for a few things.....one being a holder for the PFC controller.

a couple more new pics......

I just cut the intercooler piping and taped it together so i could tig it later for those that think the piping is a little ugly.

I should have it ready to start and drive by next week hopefully. I still have to get everything polished and coated.

You guys should see the port job on my UIM and LIM....it's so clean! The guy really did an incredible job! I'll take some pics and post them in the next couple of days.

I would've just welded the piping up except for it's alum. and I don't tig. It should polish up nice.....the type R BOV has to be welded on also. I didn't have the alum. mounting piece so i had to order it. I just ordered my hump boots from Turbonetics which should be here by Tues. I'm starting to get really really excited!
