Just did fan mod, question on battery usage.
Can't believe I didn't do the fan mod sooner. I decided to do the "hanging wiring behind ecu" fan mod. Did the test, yada yada, worked like a charm.
While I was doing this I wired up my boost gauge as well.
To make a long story short, basically I started on this at 3pm ended 8pm (kinda lazy), ummmm yeah I forgot to close my doors, so naturally when it came time to start her up she was mad and wouldnt turn on ( I drained the battery). So I had to jump start her. Tested the battery, still good.
But, my concern is I just wired my b-gauge, and did the fan mod, and I have a t-timer. I know this stuff is working the battery. Should I be worried and get a new one? The fans will stay on for 10mins after shut down, but I'm worried the battery will go bad sooner than expected, so I don't let the fans run, only when I drive. Should I get a new battery? If so which one? Thanks.
