Just curious again.

How much can I get out of selling an automatic transmission from a 93 FD with about 100k miles on it? Do you think a junk yard will take it?

Im thinking that a junk yard might take it off your hands for free. The auto's with that many miles really isnt worth anything. Your better off giving it away than to sell it. You might give it to a local high school and let them have a tranny to play with, then you might be able to use it as a tax right off.

You'd probably have to pay them.

A friend was looking to get rid of the TH-350 in his El Camino because highway driving was buzzing his engine and asked me for advice. I told him to find a TH-700R4 or TH-2004R 4-speed automatic with overdrive so he wasn't winding the **** out of his 5,500 rpm redline GM Goodwrench replacement P.O.S. 350. He found one all right, but manage to buy one from a guy who was swapping a V8 drivetrain into his V6 Camaro... wrong transmission. He was going to drop it in a dumpster (he only paid $75 for it... the price alone should have tipped him off) but donated it to a transmission shop instead.

Take it to a local transmission shop (call first) and donate it to the cause.
