just to confirm....

now, just to confirm, my car
1. dropped all power but still limped at 2500rpm accelrating on an onramp.
2. stalled out as soon as it got slower with no throttle
3. shook like a bitch when i tried to turn her over (but could with some throttle help), we shut her down and towed her.
4. smells like gas.
5. blowing air out a pipe from the manifold (beleive is an airbox return).
6. sounds ***!!
7. MAP sensor is all plugged up and fine.

what is wrong here? i'm thinking she be a blown Apex Seal... would i be right?

come on, hit me with it, i've only had her 6 days!

on the bright side.... WARRANTY!

More than likely a blown apex. Sounds just like the symptoms mine had. Thank god for that warranty, you lucky bastard!

that is almost exactly what my experience was also. on teardown i had no apex seals (rear rotor) and had to buy a new rear rotor because of the damage. good luck with it, Warranty's rock!! just make sure your rebuild is from a decent shop. we know how bad that can end up...
