just bought my first rx-7 got a ?

i am now the proud owner of a 93 tt 7. i just drove it back for lamotorcars in dallas about four miles from the rotary performance shop. when i got home i played around with my friend in his supra and when we got back i notice and oil leak can anyone give any suggestions to wut it might be. the car has 100 k on it. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

check the oil drain screw, the seal around them can go bad.

Well, you could always LOOK under the car and find out where the oil leak is coming from.

It's probably the gasket around the oil pan, which I have a leak coming from, along with just about every other FD owner; but, it could be any number of things. You need to figure out where it's coming from.

which one did you get from lance and did you get his warranty its a good deal if you didnt call him back and buy it from him he will usually do it for you. I bought my car from him and almost didnt get the warranty but Im so glad I did or my car would still not be running right now.

Too many variables to play arm chair mechanic. You need to lift the car and check underneath for the leak(s). Hopefully it's just a loose oil pan nut or its gasket. You might want to check the oil lines connected to the turbos. REGARDLESS, keep an eye on the oil level! Good Luck.

thanks for all your help im going to pick it up on the lift today and give it a look. hope its just a nut or bolt thats loose and DaedelGT i live in marksville.
