Just bought a '93 FD!!

Well the subject says it all! Its a '93 VR with Black Leather. Here are the mods:

Pineapple Racing Stage 3 Large Street Port (with 0 miles!)
3mm Hurley Race Seals
4:30 gears
M2 Downpipe
Racing Beat Cat Back
Racing Beat CAI Box
K&N Filter
Unorthodox Underdrive Pully
Racing Clutch
3" Steel Intercooler Pipes
Hollow Cat
Short Shift Kit
Removed Power Steering
Removed A/C
99 J-spec Tail lights
Effini Emblems
White Face Guages
HKS Turbo Timer

It needs a new wiring harness to run, and since its still running the stock computer I am going to kill two birds with one stone and I am ordering the Haltech E11. Two days ago I put in the order with the RX7Store for the Nippondenso Pump, along with Engine Management by Dave Walker and 4 Stroke Performance Tuning by Graham Bell from Amazon. I might also order the HT Hose Kit and do that since the car will be apart anyways. Seeing as this comes to over $2k in one month on top of the car purchase, Its going to be another month or two for what comes next.

After the engine is broken in, since the turbo's are still stock and probably on thier way out, and I will probably be haveing major spike/creep problems, perhaps getting the turbos rebuilt by BNR along with porting the wastegate would be next. I would go this route because of financial considerations so don't jump to saying "Go Single!" ;-) . I will definatly need a new Intercooler at this point and am thinking of the M2 SMIC. Also, 1300cc Secondaries would probably be in order.

Hahaha this beast is going to break the bank... but its a dream come true and its going to be the most fun (or frustration?) in my life! Tell me what you guys think! I wanna hear any input good or bad!

Also I wanna say that I've been lurking on here for a few weeks now and have learned so much. Thank you guys for all the info and I hope to be able to return the favors one day!

Here's a crappy pic:

congrats!
sounds like you know your stuff too

just be careful, it is very easy to run lean or overheat

be responsible and respect the car and take care of it properly and then you will have fun

Damn nice mod list. That sounds to be one incredibly nice FD. Wanna trade interiors for my nice stock tan leather?? Anyway, congrats on your new car and best of luck with it. Laterz.

just out of curiosity...why the E11? what is wrong with the E6K? is it the OMP function? that is a lot of extra money for just that. to save yourself some money, i would try to buy a used e6k from someone who "needs" an e11 for the 20b now that it is available.

I wanted the E11 because of several advantages like OMP control, windows based, 3d graghs, etc. But I have one big problem which is.... there are NO people in NM that I have found that know diddly about Haltech systems. And as much as I'd like to think i'm a smart guy I cannot do it all alone. There is a local AEM dealer and also a local company that tunes AEM EMS's, so I'm really leaning towards that now. The factory wiring harness is fried though which the Haltech came with, so I will still have to replace that. Also i've played with both companies software now and AEM's software seems more powerfull, also controls the OMP, and has the added benifit of knock control, automapping from a wideband, etc.
