JIC Exhaust burns bumper?
I have just put on the JIC TI exhaust on my car. I have heard it will burn my rear bumper? Is this true? If so, how can i prevent that.

Just seems like you'd burn the carbon fiber add-on instead...
Only cases I've seen of damaged rear bumpers were from exhausts that were mis-aligned so they were too close to the bumper. The Apex N1 dual also fits REALLY too close to the bumper and can cause problems. I was never impressed with it due to that - just too gimmicky.
Anyhow, a quality Japanese exhaust should fit well and not cause problems. Unless others would like to chime in?

Well, read what rotary extreme says about the piece:
"If you have a straight pipe, flames coming out the exhaust pipe will melt your stock plastic bumper. The carbon fiber rear bumper guard prevents that from happening. The carbon fiber bumper guard is made from fire proof, non-flammable resin. "
I'm sure you can find someone who burned the guard as well, but most likely it was one of those 3 rotors shooting 10 foot flames ;p
I melted my rear valance with my old pettit exhaust. After installing the rotary extreme guard I didn't have that problem again. So in my opinion it works.
