Hey guys, I had bought a 13b block last summer for my project fd. It came with a wiring harness, but the guy I bought it from had no info. on its history. All he knew was that it had about 30k miles on it. Anyways, it came with a wiring harness, looked to be complete, but when I look back to my workshop manual, the schematics dont go together at all. They all go to different places and are even different colors. Does anyone know how to identify the difference, or if there even is a difference? Perhaps the last owner had started a single turbo harness? I honestly have no clue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

Can you post pics of the engine harness?Maybe it is from 96+ fd3s and is completely difference to older models.

I have a J-Spec RX7 RHD and the engine control harnass is different.
The harnass that hooks up to the alternator and starter is the same.

 

the harness is completely different? or the wires in the harness are completely different? thats two different things.

 

The harness is the same, but a lot of the wires are swapped, like a red wire is connected to a blue wire and just doesnt make any scince. It looked like the wires were different, but I took all of the plastic and tape off, and found out that the last owner did some weird stuff to it. Just mixing random wires with others it seems. Now Im just confused of what to do.

How much could I find a used harness for about?
