Exclamation JDM FD Clutch Master/Slave

Are the JDM clutch master and slave cylinders the same as the USDM ones?

I need to replace them but I'm not sure if the ones off of Rock Auto (which I assumed are USDM) are the same for JDM ones.

Thanks

As I understand it, the master is different. You will need to find a JDM one. The slave I believe is the same for JDM or USDM.

the slave is the same, LHD or RHD

the part number for the JDM master is F100-41-990B, it looks like the difference is that its just a mirror image, so the diagonal bolt pattern is just the other way. you have three options.

1. find JDM master.
2. use US master guts to rebuild the JDM master
3. us the US master, and just live with the fittings pointing in weird directions

Are you sure? I checked the part number last year when I ordered a replacement. I'm intending to use the RHD part on an LHD car and I couldn't find a difference in part numbers.

My post is written wrong.

I own a Right Hand Drive ex Japanese 2002 FD3S. I bought an LHD FD Master from mazdatrix.

I'm pretty sure the part numbers matched when I checked.

If you want a JDM one I'll sell you my old one :P only got 58100 miles on it
