jdm engines

Just a question,i'm getting a jdm engine and was wondering what I need to swap from my engine to get it running?I know the parts are the same,i was more concerned with the electronics side such as the sensors and such.I guess i'm looking at the difference between the 16 bit system and 8bit(is that right?).Any help is appreciated.

what year is the engine that you are getting? if its a 92-95 every thing should be the same if its a 96+ just use the bare short block and use all your stuff from your old engine.
