J-Spec Tail Light Mods

If anyone is interested in having their Tail lights modifided to look like the '99's I want to let you know that I am doing the mods myself for $55 + shipping. If you are interested please E-Mail Joes95RX7@***.net

This is the best deal you will find and the best quality work. Only a two day turn around.

I saw a unique setup at sevenstock. Some kid used something like a propane torch to open them (bubbles and distortion), and then cut out black poster board from two sheets and propped them in between the clear and colored lenses. The two pieces overlap slightly so that the turn signal has a flat edge to the circle. NICE!

On the other hand, there was also a mod where they used carbon fiber vinyl . It looked very cool.
There was at least one real '99 spec light set there. It was in the courtyard on a left hand drive "Spirit model" with 0 miles on it, and a VIN that went something like this "2000000000". The lights only slightly differed from the modded type by having a very small ring molded into the plastic to separate the black paint from the color.
