J-Auto still in business?

Just ordered some pillowballs with them but I haven't got any updates with them.
called, facebook message, email nada

Anyone knows if they are still in business? It's crazy time right now so I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't

I ordered some stuff from them within the past 90 days, some of it was backordered and took awhile to show up, but I was able to get in touch with them by email to get status.

Received my pillow ***** bushings about 1 week ago. They were all in stock. I had to wait on the dust boots... Mazda was backed up on them.

Took a few months because Mazda didnt have the dust boots. But they eventually came. I know there is a backlog, so they are being sent out in order of which they were placed.

Non responsive

I placed an order to J-auto on February 15th and haven't yet heard anything from them on an order status. I have reached out twice by email and several times by phone with no response. Posts seem to have stopped on all of there social media pages back in May of 2020. Any of you placed orders with them recently? To me seems like they aren't around?

FWIW since I was a former (very) satisfied customer and considering a set of his pillow-ball bushings I emailed a link to this thread almost week ago. Make of the crickets what you want, but I don’t think he should’ve been THAT busy to let everyone know what’s going on.
Guess I’m going OEM with Ray Crowe.

Did you try calling and leaving a voicemail? He said phone is the best way for contact. Your time your money...I would get pillow ***** from J auto but order the dust seals through Ray since he probably keeps a stock of them.

I was hopeful he’d post up. And, no...I didn’t call based on the above. Besides, responding to calls and voicemails seems like it would take even more time and imo being “busy” seems pretty lame.
But you’re right, it’s my money.

It's not like he doesn't want to make money, for what it's worth he was fine to deal with back in late January when I placed my pillow ball order. I left two voicemails on two different days and he called back both times. Seems weird he'd just be ok with losing business, I hope you try and leave a voicemail instead of giving up after one email.

Follow up

I would like to add some clarity on the total experience. As mentioned above, I placed my order back on February 15th. So it has not been 4 weeks. FWIW it was totalling $2300 in suspension overhaul products. New bushings, pillowballs, dust boot, wheel hubs, arp studs, wheel bearings, trailing arms, toe links, outer tie rods, and sway bar endlinks. I would not call this a small oder. I placed the order via PayPal from his site which was smooth and easy. After placing the order the only verification I received on the order was an email from PayPal. I waited approximately two and a half weeks after placing and still no correspondence on my order. So I wrote and email inquiring on the status since I hadn't heard anything. One week later no response. Now we are 3ish weeks after. So I place a call and leave a voicemail. Nothing. Two days later I called again. Nada. So I went back to the computer and wrote another email. By this point it is a few days shy of four weeks. The next day I got a response to by email which ended up in my spam so I didn't see it right away. I called twice the next day and was able to get him on the phone. He was nice to deal with on the phone and he brought to my attention that he had responded to my email the day prior. So I went digging to make sure that wasn't the case with my first email. It was not. Just the response to my second email. Anyways... in summary, I did get in contact with him after about 4 weeks. I have not yet received the products, but I do have tracking and they will likely be here by the end of this week or early next week. He did apologize for the lack of communication and delays in the delivery. I don't care if it would have taken 8 weeks to get the products. I just wanted to have some communication on what the situation was. I guess if you order from him you have to be patient because it could take a bit.

I ordered parts from him end of last year and then again in the last 2 weeks. Even called him on the phone and spoke to him to confirm he had parts in stock. Placed the order through the website and took only a couple days to receive (from Cali to Ohio). Sorry for your negative experience.

I just installed J Auto pillow *****. Received them about a week after ordering , Juan had just gotten the seals from Mazda. I suspect that that was the cause of the delays on previous orders.
The install was pretty straight forward and even though I could not force movement of the old pillow ***** the rear suspension is much quieter now.

Ive ordered a complete set of PBs at the beginning of March and haven't heard anything back since paying. I'm having real difficulties contacting them and have tried PM'ing on here, FB, emailing and Calling. It's even harder being in the UK. It's good to know from the above post they are still supplying ok but again I can't understand how contact has not been made within a month of ordering. It seems I'm not the only one.

I ordered some sway bar end links back in late January, I tried calling a couple times in the last few weeks but only got voicemail. Some people got their stuff so at least that's a little reassuring.

After leaving a VM last week I received tracking for my parcel Friday. I assume it was picked up and now am expecting delivery midday today. Postage timescales are great so pretty pleased with this now. I'm sure yours will be actioned soon if you have contact them it appears now.

It's been a few weeks since ordering pillowball bushings and I have not received them, a confirmation number or tracking number and i'm only 45 minutes away from him in SoCal. He hasn't responded to email, phone calls, voicemails, texts, facebook DM and posts on his page.

I would not recommend doing business with people who have this blatant lack of communication.

Well, i finally got them a month later with zero communication from them. Can't say I'd do business with them again, but at least they finally sent the parts.

Personally, I'd do a charge back and order them from Ray Crowe
