An issue on hard acceleration...

Hello all-
Finally had a nice engine built by Rob at Pineapple in Portland; street port, late turbo, down pipe, RB exhaust, Pettit air filter set up. That's about it. Jerry at Jerry's Little Car in Auburn, WA, did the install. I'm still nursing it around during the break-in miles-just shy of 500 now. The issue that has me puzzled is that under hard acceleration (still shifting @ 5500), in third gear, just as things are getting interesting, there is a complete loss of power. Needless to say, I get off throttle immediately and chill out, but it's got me thinking that maybe I have a fuel delivery issue. In 1st and 2nd, no issue, but that long pull in 3rd, at about 4500-5000 rpm, blah! She's off her feed. Thoughts? I'm taking her into Jerry this week (hopefully) for the 500 mile oil change and the usual, but before I go in I'd like some input. Rob may have put larger secondary injectors in; I'll check with him tomorrow. Aside from this glaring issue the engine keeps getting smoother.
