Intermittent Cold start backfire

What's up guys,
I've tried searching this. My car randomly, only in mornings, backfires on startup, it seems like it's flooded then once it clears out it runs perfectly fine. I don't smell gas though? Injector o-rings bad? This started about a month ago.

I have stock injector setup, single turbo, rebuilt 10k miles ago.

My 7 starts the same some mornings, it will backfire then run fine but i have read possible engine flood and as the rotors turn, it gets rid of the fuel inside the combustion chambers, have you found the problem??

Just guessing, but... Cold temps can be a little harsher on the battery (especially after sitting all night), so your starter may not turn the engine over as fast as it would like. This means more revolutions before it actually fires (and more revolutions before firing means more fuel injected without firing).

This extra fuel then ignites and backfires. You then try to start the car again and it's ready to go due to the prior attempt.

I bet you wouldnt have the problem if you had a brand new battery.
