Interior question for FDs... parts..

wanting to know if anyone knows if they stopped making satin-finish interior panels and now only make the textured 95 pieces, since the part #s are the same for 93-95.. but 95s came with the nicer pieces...

Well they stoped makin the satin-finish cuz they chipped off. Mazda finally realized that they were chippin off and got it right in 94 and even better in 95. I have a 93 and i repainted my center councel piece becuase of the problem. I think that the satin-finish looks better then then the textured. I saw it on a 94 and i didnt like it.

well i plan on replacing mine, just wanting to make sure when i order the part #s that there isn't any confusion. I think the satin finish looks good too, but i'm tired of dealing with it.. repainting a good cheap way, but i don't wanna deal with it again in a couple years.

If you have chipping, re-sand and apply a matte paint. Finish it up with appropriate follow-up sanding and recoating.

Don't go with that 94+ textured panel style as it looks like CRAP.

Or you can do what I did - cover most of it with leather. It really stops the instrument pod from reflecting on the inside of the windshield too.
