I installed some gauges yesterday, and sence then, my fader does not work. all the lights still work?

any ideas?

btw, I tied the gauges into the light in the cig lighter thingie if that helps any...

 

Did you connect both wires from the gauges to both wires to the ash tray light? You have to connect both or it won't work. If you ground a wire it will screw up the dimmer circuit. If you have electronic gauges that have a common ground for the illumination and electronics, it is much harder to setup, but can be done. Go here for details:
