interesting in purchasing a 3rd gen

i'm interesting in purchasing a 3rd gen, and i was wondering if there was anythign in particular i should look out for.. avoid, that kinda thing.

the only thing i know about the rx-7 (regarding reputation) is that maintainence is high, obviously so due to the rotary engine, are there any other things the car encounters with age? im trying to make a very safe purchase, stock 95 if i can find one. is there any webstie i can goto to read about any of this? please reply back
thanks

The most important thing to do is get a compression test before you buy the car. It will only cost you $45 and this will tell you how healthy the engine is. Also, don't worry about an FD being modified, just make sure that the proper steps in modifying the car was done correctly. Also, the boost should be 10-8-10 if the stock boost level is the same.
