interesting boost problem. (somewhat long)
well, ive had this boost problem for a while, and I hve finally had time to fix it. Im 17, so I do have other things that are more important, like studies and such ya know? well it started off, when I got my Defi boost gauge and installed it, I got 10 5-5 so basically, I only got 5 pounds after 4500 rpms. so, after checking some things out, replacing all the vacuum lines under the intake tubes, the 4 on the wastegate control, and the other selenoid right behind the vacuum tank, and the vaccum tank lines, I even looked pretty well under the manifold, and didnt see any popped off. I went under the car to switch it to non-seq temporarily and forgot that I was a retard and didnt check the TCA clip, and of course, it was popped off, so I popped it back on, and I thought yay! I can get full boost again! so I was running the car, and now when I hit secondary if I am flooring it, all my boost leaks out to about 1 pound. but if I keep the throttle to a minimum of having 5-6 psi through 4500 rpms, the boost sticks, and nothing leaks out. when it does I get this huge WOOOOOOOOOOSH!!!. so, I pulled off the couplers on the y-pipe, checked the y-pipe itself, and the hose coming off the intake manifold and its rubber tube. not the one on the lower intercooler though. I know there are a billion boost posts, but I would appreciate some direct answers ya know? thanks alot to anyone who attempts at helping me out

yeah I fixed it, did the vacuum line job, replaced the CC solenoid, flipped a check valve around, replaced one and I got my good boost back
