Hey, I finally pulled my engine out the other night. When I was looking it over, I noticed that the upper intake manifold had a weird looking hold next to the lower butterfly. Here it is, tell me what you think it is. It has some dremel looking marks on it...

That little hole allows air into the engine at idle so that your engine can idle. If you turn your engine on with the elbow off you can hear it hiss.

 

Thank you. I wasnt sure if it was something stock or not. It looks kinda haggard is the only reason it caught my attention.
