Insurance Claim - 3rd Gen ECU HELP!

I mailed out a 3rd Gen ECU about a year ago to buyer in Canada, unfortunately the buyer never received it so I filed a claim with USPS. Now it's a year later (oh god) I got a letter tonight stating that I need to show "evidence of value", which I insured the ECU for $400.

Since this is the first time I am going through a claim to the things I've sold, can anyone help on what is USPS looking for and possibily where can I get a "evidence of value" for the $400 that I put as insurance?

Thanks!!

Timmy

Call Mazda? Maybe they can fax you a price sheet or something (if they sell the part at all). It'll probably be alot more than $400, but u can maybe tell them its used, so that's why it was insured for less than $xxxx.

go to the mazda parts counter and get a quote for the ecu. it should be way more than $400. that should suffice for usps.

For a used value I'd get some quotes from Mazda and then some salvage yards. The salvage yards pretty much establish retail for used ECUs.
