I am 21 and have 3 tickets on my record. I insure through USAA and my payments are $623 every 6 months. I am the primary driver and it is insured as a daily driver, full coverage, $1000 deductable, and full benefits. I only have 1 more year before all my tickets come off my record. I can't wait to see what kind of difference that will make.

94 rx7... in college and female. i pay 300 a month. Its the fifth car on a family plan. Five people and five cars and all 99 except for mine. There have been a lot of thefts of cars and tickets on my dads part so I'm blamming him (the week I got my FD he got a speeding ticket... going 140 in a 65mph zone). The age bracket for girls changes at 19 and then again at like 21 or 22 and then again at 25. I think that it varies depending on the company for girls. But all you boys are stuck until 25.

300 a month is kinda steep. My family goes through State Farm right now, but I'm doing the secondary listing thing...

I used to pay $400/6 months when I was 16. Do tickets go off your record after 3 years??? Or is it one??

I'm 24 with an extremely bad history on getting tickets and suspended license. The cheapest I've found was $5,000 for one year.

Sucks to be you. You should get a lawyer for some of those tickets next time. Pay your fine but keep them off your record. That's what I do.

Well I have alot of toys. I live in TN so the ins is decent here. I have an old bronco II that I drive normally for mileage so its dirt cheap. The 94 7, and a 2002 ZX12R Ninja. For all of these its 680 every six months. Keep in mind I couldnt get the 7 on a lesiure plan because it is still considered High performance and I am single under 25. THerefore the 7 is listed as a standard or primary along with the bronco. Full coverage on both the Ninja and the 7. Liability on the bronco. Not too bad I think.
I have one speeding ticket

Wow.. that would all be US$ I'm assuming..

Guess you guys are gonna hate me My first RX-7 (1979 model) was when I was 16, and I paid around US$ 100 per year for third party, fire, theft and windscreen insurance. When I was 17, I had a 1981 model that I paid "full cover" insurance @ US$ 300 per year, or thereabouts. I'm 90% through negotiating with a car dealer to purchase a 1992 (you guys would call them "FD" - we call them "Series 6") Japanese-assembled RX-7 (twin turbo) and I've been quoted US $ 500 a year for that (full insurance). I'm 23, and have had one speeding ticket (124kph in a 100 zone.. oops) and no claims. The car is valued in this country at US$ 8000 (NZL$21,000).

But then I guess you would all earn quite a bit more than we do over here...

26 -> $105/mo , full coverage, listed as second vehicle (pleasure vehicle @ 5000mi/year). I have renter's insurance and the car loan through the same company (USAA).

USAA is awesome, btw. If you have the ability to get a policy through them, I highly recommend it.
