Instrument Cluster connectors...

The instrument panel looks like it has push in to connect connectors.

I am getting ready to take mine out to replace it with a used unit. Before doing so, I would like to bench test the used one.

Does anyone know if the connectors to the instrument wiring harness uses standard (non proprietary) connectors?

Anyone know where I can get the correct connectors?

Thanks.

The best way to bench test it is to plug it into the car. All those connectors are VERY weird and you'd spend far more time and effort trying to make a bench test setup than you'd save.

Remove your whole stock instrument cluster and shroud, then plug JUST the new cluster in and just set it on the dash. Drive the car around and see how it works. If you need to calibrate the speedo or anything, read my writeup on that - now's the time. If all is good, swap it into the instrument cluster shroud and button it all up.

Thanks for the advice. It would be nice to just swap a tested unit and be done with it.
