installing a PFC

i know that this should be in the ECU forum, well it is. its just that the traffic there isnt very high and answers are usually awaited. if anyone can help with these questions that would be great.

im about to get a PFC in about the next week. what is the installation process of the PFC??? is it just plug and play or is there a huge deal of splicing involved? either way, i cant wait to limit my boost so i can hammer it again.
