Exclamation Installing a Greddy FMIC...does it require battery relocation?

I am currently installing a Greddy 3 Row FMIC on my Fd and is wondering if I it is necessary for me to relocate the battery? I have a yellow top optima battery, which i sort of small. If I do need to relocate the battery, can I instead use a small miata battery? Thanks for all your help guys/gals.

Yes you would need to move it to the back.

You can also get a smaller battery, such as the Odyssey PC680 that I use for my Blitz intercooler.

We use those batteries a lot with the front mount, but make sure you dont let the car sit for long or that battery dies quick.

You can relocate a man sized battery to one of the bins for less than $100, still have lots of AMPS and clean up the engine bay. Install only takes about 2 hours once you have all the parts. Many threads here abouit it but I like Jimlabs write-up the best.

i'm in the middle of getting mine in, and i was wondering if you had to modify the stock radiator location, i'm using a koyo rad, and right now, i think its going to have to be changed to go straight up and down, not slanted. anyone else have this problem?

anyone have pics of it being installed?
