installing differential bushing, am i supposed to use the rubber spacers?

hello

when i took the differential carrier off,
on the outside of the bushings are 2 large circle/cross rubber spacers. they are marked 'up' on one side. these appear to be spacers used on the OEM differential bushings. am i supposed to reuse them? or are then not needed with jim labs new bushings?
