Exclamation installed y-pipe/hard pipes=zero boost

I know I've overlooked something simple while reassembling it.......it's probably because I took it apart a week ago and just reassembled today....

Anyways - idles fine, 18 on the boost gauge at idle,
get on it, gauge swings around to zero and nothing beyond! No whistling sound from the turbos to indicate any type of spool up, no noise from the bypass valve.
There is a high pitched kind of whine at high rpm....

Just wanted to get some opinions before I tear back into it.....it's a PITA to remove every thing and the air pump, but it's not that difficult......my wife wanted to go to dinner in it tonight and I don't want to drive with zero boost in case I left a rag in there somewhere

GEB.....definitely not feeling like disassembling y-pipe assy again!

You did remember to hook up the hose to the air bypass valve, didn't you? You'll still show 18 in/m vacuum at idle with an intake leak, if your boost gauge is reading from anywhere past the TB.

Yep - you mean the vacum line going to the bypass right?

Both. The main big hose that leads from the Y-pipe junction to the bypass valve, and the smaller vacuum hose leading into the bypass valve itself.

From the top it all appears in order....I guess I'll start tearin' onto it tomorrow . G/D I'm sick of pulling all of this crap out!!. I'd pull the airpump for good if I didn't have emmisions to worry about...

Thanks,
GEB
