i took my car down the road today for the first time, had some other issues. I after noticing some issuess with the car I noticed that my speedometer isnt working. I had the 5th gear and syncro replaced in the tranny also. Whats my problem? Also the speed senor/or abs wire on the passenger side of engine bay is fried from turbo, is that the sensor that picks up speed? What is my problem, help?

 

Well you obviously identified it as your speed sensor, so wouldn't that probably be the problem?

 

The speed sensor is on the right side of the rear of the transmission . the wires go in to the harness and to the cabin with the wires to the computor . they are not near the turbo exhaust if done correctly .Check the plug connector on the transmission .
