Installed a HID Kit... pics
Last week I was in Orange County and LA area, I stopped by a few places like Racing Beat and Greddy and thought I'd check out some HID Kits while I was in town.
I had been wanting one since i installed the Evo-R Sleek headlight kit and wasn't exactly thrilled with the halogens performance... To give the kit credit I think it was better than stock and I dig the sleek look.
I went by Xenon Pros (xenonpros.com) and purchased a McCulloch 6K HID kit for about $300.
I installed it when I got home and was pleasantly surprised!
P.S. If any of you have this headlight kit and plan on doing the same thing... PM me because I can save you alot of trouble..
****The Projector and Bracket needs to be moved forward about 1/4 inch in order for the bulb wires and harness to clear the frame of the car****
I put the pics on my cardomain page here's the link

First pic is obviously the halogens...

Wow am I glad to see this. I just ordered the evo-R sleek kit and was worried from some of the reviews I heard that the lighting quality even WITH the HID's was terrible.
I assumed it was because it was some generic HID kit(which it is) not to mention a 12000k blue HID bulb(which is HORRENDOUS for lighting), and that those 2 factors were the culperates(sp) for the terrible lighting.
Heres what the stock Headlights look like with H4 Kaixens (with a built in cutoff since it's in the stock non projector housing)

Now that you posted this I am so so glad to see that the lighting is indeed very good even though it is h3 ( a fog light projector) I opted to not buy the HID's that EVo-R offered as the Kelvins was much much too high, and boy am I glad I didnt! I was planning on getting some 5-6k bulbs, and they look wonderful. Your car looks great too.
Thanks very much, and it looks great!
P.S windom if it's like Kaixen kits, I can definitely walk you through it, as it's pretty easy.
