Installation new spark plug~
I know that it's easier to remove and install spark plugs from the bottom. But I just wondering if any special tools/equipment are needed to do so?? Also what thing do I have to pay attention to??? And where should I use as a reaction point to jack the car up?? Front bottom?? Side bottom???

BTW: if your car is lower then 4 inchs off the ground in the front, use the stock jacks but use 2 at the same time, then when you get it high enuf, use a floor jack and jack where it shows in my pics in the above thread
On another note, you might wanna put a longer peice of wood between the floor jack and the cross member so as to spread out the load on the cross member.

P.S. To all that don't use jackstands, your FRIGGEN MORONS!!! Cars are ment to be driven, not dropped on top of you! Jack stands cost like 15-50 bucks, there is no excuse no to have and use at least 1 pair! Don't forget to get some wheel chocks to block those rear wheels.

Hey, I been wondering: I jack the car up using the spare tire jack in it's proper location, between the marks on the side rail. Then I put my jack stands under the bolt that hold the entire subfame to the body, right next to the rear lower control arm pivot point, NOT the engine mount bolts as shown in the above post. Less frame flex when I do so, and I really hate jacking by the crossmember and seeing IT flex. Anyway, am I doing it wrong?

and yes the crossmember will flex a bit but if you use a peice of wood, it should spread out the weight/stress.

I don't understand why people pull the plugs from the bottom.
I think all the complaints about pulling the plugs are just an urban legend.
I can pull all 4 of my plugs, from the top, in less than 5 minutes.
Yes, it has taken some time to perfect, and yes I do have a special ratchet for it, but I have done it on other people's cars with their tools.
I use a swivel head Snap-On ratchet which is 3/8 drive but sized like a 1/4 in drive. Craftsman and others also make this wrench and it makes the job SO easy.
The key is to get the extra couple of degrees the swivel head gives you.
No need to jack up the car to change the plugs.
