Innovative Wideband Problem

Ok, so I just finished installing my LC-1 and XD-16 Gauge and am having a problem. Routed the wideband wires thru the shift boot (wires are not pinched). Ground and hot wire from the Gauge to the ecu ground and a switched power circuit. LC-1 grounded at two separate places. Hot wire for LC-1 to the switched power at the fusebox by the clutch pedal. Install went fine, had the wife weld in the bung @1:00 location before the cat, installed the gauge in the dash below the radio (PITA by the way).
Ran thru the calibration sequence, started the car, everything worked fine. Now, when I turned on the headlights and/or running lights, I get an E-2 code on the gauge. E -2 means Heater circuit open in the manual. I think it should be E - 9 for Supply voltage too low. Has anybody had this same problem? Is this thing so sensitive that I'm going to need to run a switched hot lead directly from the battery to the LC-1? I've got a Optima mounted in the passenger bin, and it wouldn't be too difficult to run another wire, but I really want to be done with putting this thing in! Where did everybody else run their grounds and hot wires?
Thanks for your help.

Run another Heater Calibration and Free Air Calibratin
Heater Calibration
1. Unplug sensor from cable
2. Turn on key for 20 seconds
3. Turn off key and plug the sensor back in
Free Air Calibration
1. Hit the Rec Button the the XD-1 3 times real quick
2. Push the Rec button again
3. Reinstall the Sensor after the calibration is complete

Hm, disconnected the Sensor today when I installed it into the bung today. Did the free air calibration yestercay. Everytime you disconnect the sensor it will need to be recalibrated?

On a side note though, on the way to work, I did a few 4th gear pulls on I-5, gauge read 11.4 to 12.1 so I now know for sure it's not leaning out. This looks like it will be a fun mod. with all the data that can be had from this device!
