Innovate HELP

I am just starting the install on the Innovate lc-1 and xd-1 but I am not really sure on somethings.

1. If I am just using the xd-1 for a read out on my a/f do I need to use the calibration wire?
2.Can I use the heater and the system ground in the same place?
3. What is the heater ground do ?
4. Where do you guys recoment on grounding the wire?
5. The system ground is for another hook up right? So I really dont need to ground it since i am runing the xd-1. correct?
6. What does the calibration wire do?
7. After installing it how do you do a calibration with a xd-1?

This thread should answer most of your questions.

At least towards the end of it.

7. After installing it how do you do a calibration with a xd-1?
1.) you should connect the calibration wire to a ground with a pushbutton or switch, this way, when you re-calibrate the LC-1 you don't have to take everything apart again
2.) not recommended
3.) ground the heater for your LC-1 sensor?
4.) the heater ground should go to a chassis ground and the system ground should go to where you will use the analog out signals.
5.)see 2
6.) See 1
7.) you should have calibrated it before you installed it. if you did not, then you messed up. if you did not and are asking about initial calibration then read the instruction becasue its way to long to type out.
