injector question
I read in a thread there that if I upgrade to a higher injector I should take off the plastic piece in the injector shaft because it might break since I have a high flowing injector. Is this info correct? I found out that If I take the plastic piece off there's a big gap in the shaft now between the secondary rail and the LIM. I'm thinking of getting a dremell and hack that plstic piece off but leave the one that goes in the shaft intact so there will be no gap. If I do this there's no way of reusing that plastic piece since I'd just hacked it so i need to know if that plastic piece does indeed need to go for the mod. Ill post some pics of what I am talking about.

I cut the three legs off and use the upper part with the o-ring as a spacer .cut the legs off even with the ring and file it smooth .A new o- ring is good as they are usually fried .
