Injector Pulsing and Fuel Pump

OK well I have having a few weird problems. My brand new motor isn't kicking over and I am trying to find out why. I have spark to the wires and compression is as good as it's going to get until the breakin takes place and the seals seat.

The thing is the car is cranking and sounds like it's just not getting any fuel. Now it could be getting fuel but I don't know for sure. I disconnected the hose coming from the drivers side of the car where the hard line crosses over the engine and saw fuel come out of it when I turned the fuel pump on so I know the fuel pressure is there. I have a feeling it has to do with grounds in a few places and I wanted to know what you guys thought.

When doing the swap we must have missed a ground or two somewhere or at least I think so. Would this cause the fuel pump not to switch on?(I have been ghetto jumping it since I realized it's not flipping on) If so, where are the grounds for the fuel pump located? Also will our injectors pulse if there is a ground missing somewhere? I can't think of any other problems that could be causing my engine not to turn over. It almost feels as if you were stuck on the side of the road cranking over a car that has ZERO gas in the tank(which I am more then half full). It just isn't making any sounds like combustion is taking place. Just crank crank crank and nothing.

Anyone ever have problems with their injectors not pulsing due to grounds?
