Importing right hand drive FD's

Does anybody know what the requirements for converting right hand drive FD's over to US standards are? I understand that it is typically very expensive simply to get a true JDM car into the country. That aside, does anybody know what is needed? or atleast a credible source I can check to find out??

(I am a military type and about to get stationed overseas. The Navy will ship cars for free when moving out of country.I believe I found a loophole, it will ship your vehicle back with you. I don't think that you are required to have the same car you originally brought with you upon return to the states ^_^.)

There are some *very* clean looking FD's over in England..

You should check with the military on your questions. IIRC, you can bring a car with you back to the states, however, its only for a temporary basis (i.e. something like 2 years). Basically, they are giving you time to get US car.

Yeah, same here. Was stationed in Japan and luckily they sent me next to Italy. Love it here... never had to convert anything. Come Dec 2008 when I leave here I pray I don't go back stateside just so I can keep my baby.
