I'm stumped on a couple of footwell electrical connectors ...
Hi everyone,
I'm curious about a couple of footwell electrical connectors. I circled both in pics
#1 - white plastic 3 spade female connector, driver's side next to alarm/flasher ECU ?
#2 - Yellow female connector next to ECU, under glovebox ?
#3 - I'm also curious about which is which on 3 coolant sensors :
A- the one facing forward under filler neck cap
B- 2 sensors between oil filter and heater core to engine plastic fitting,
on driver side. One very large and the other small, on the lower left of larger one.
C- I'm familiar with Fan thermoswitch + ECU coolant sensor facing towards back under filler neck cap, behind sensor A
I know one is coolant level + another coolant temp, but not %100 which are which, or what the 3rd one does ?
My coolant light + buzzer won't shut off and all 3 sensors are properly connected, so I need to know which one to check for voltage.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I believe the sensor on the filler neck that you speak of is the coolant level sensor. The two below the oil filter are the engine coolant temp for the gauge cluster (that's the little sensor) and the big sensor (silver in color with a boot on it and a spade connector) is the oil pressure transmitter for the oil pressure gauge.

Thanks Matt,
An old thread post suggested coolant sensors were the other way around, so I wasn't sure.
My coolant level + coolant temp sensors are new, and I'm guessing the circuit wiring must be OK since low coolant light + buzzer do come on at startup.
The attached wiring diagram was the only one I could find.
I'm guessing a gauge ECU logic/timer circuit must silence the buzzer + light when specified sensor voltage is present ?
Not much info in the diagram on the gauge cluster itself or which instrument harness plug to check.
I haven't found the correct sensor resistance in diagnostics yet.
Does anyone know if ECU logic chips for the gauge cluster were ever available ?
... or if a gauge cluster diagram was ever made available ?
Thanks
