IM stuck...upgrade fuel system question!

hey guys...

thanks for all the previous help...I really appreciate it.

I am rebuilding my ported motor on my 94 fd. I picked up a set of 3mm 1 piece Ceramic Apex Seals.

Now that my motor is built up...Id like to run max boost on the stock twins on occasion.....but my dilemma is this: I cannot afford to do the injectors and trade in my gforce for the PFC at the same time.

Do I upgrade the injectors or get an AIC to go with my gforce ecu temporarily? Do I ignore the injector upgrade and just replace with stock and put my money toward the power fc instead??

are any of you using the AIC and additional injectors? Do you need the pfc when using this?

I cannot afford both at this point and want to do the injectors while the motor is out....what do you think??

I know I need more fuel for higher boost but can I get by with the AIC?....or do I need both the pfc and the AIC or the PFC and additional injectors..or upgraded injectors?

I currently have these mods...streetport, gforce ecu, manual boost contrllr, N1dual, hks downpipe, pettit intake, yokohama intermediates, ACT clutch, Koni Yellows and H&R springs.

jason 94 fd

PS...Im probably just anxious...maybe I should just wait to do the injectors...get the pfc and do the injectors after the first of the year....until then Id have to keep the boost down...sob.

what to do?

Getting the PFC will at LEAST allow you to customize the injector duty cycle according to your mods. If you need to run richer, then just up the duty cycle.

Buying injectors with a non-programmable ECU will make you run super rich. Even if you get an aftermarket IC, there is just no telling how rich or lean you may run and you would have to send out the ECU to be remapped.
