Angry I'm so f**king pissed!@#$% Some jack *** hit my car while it was parked [PART-TWO]

Here's part one: https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/im-so-f%2A%2Aking-pissed-%40-%24%25-some-jack-ass-hit-my-car-while-parked-320917/
I posted this a couple weeks ago after I saw that some ******* who was trying to parallel park behind me, "hooked" my rear quarter panel an dented my car below the gas cap. The damage wasn't too bad. But I was pissed because my car was just repainted in Feb.

I'm posting a Part two because my ******* car got hit AGAIN while it was parked while I was at work!!! **** ME! This time the damage is considerable. My car was parallel parked near the entrance to a liquor store(this could mean something) and someone cut the corner into parking lot too much and "hooked" my front fender pretty hard and pulled my car on to the curb!!!

The guy who hit my car today left a note saying, "I hit your car Ken ...something" and left a number that doesn't work.... My deductible is $500.

The thing that is really ironic is that both to these accidents happend after I bought my Daily Driver. I just happen to drive my FD on these days because I missed driving it. Damn.

Sorry about the crappy pics. I used my phone.

Any chance the liquor store has video of where you were parked?

Damn John, that's just terrible....

Your car was so clean, too. Makes me lose even more hope for society when **** like this happens. Hopefully, the liquor store will have video, but probably not.

Good luck, John.

that suck big time.

try to find vid. If not, see if there's any color left over from the guy. If there is, you stay at that store (not getting drunk) and wait for the **** to come back (notice a little damage on his bumper) and ... do whatever you want

No, let it go. Just think positive that this is a small prize (s) you give for bigger incidents that might have happened instead.

POM HB

PS. Still, I'd kill that ****.

Sorry to hear that. It's terrible when you have to leave your car out in a parking lot/garage knowing that some idiot mightnot know how to park.

Thats my fear these days.. luckily I live in Alabama and I rarely have to parallel park.. And usually take up 2 spots when I go shopping.. But in SF, phew.. its crazy over there.. My friends who moved out to SF, after couple of years, they became expert parallel parkers.

Sorry to hear about your incident!

I also have a pushed in rear drivers side fender. Is that difficult for a body shop to do well or just a nuisance since it requires repainting afterward?

Law abiding citizen huh, Phil?! lol. I double park too, and usually ppl let it slide, but once in a while I get a warning for it (mall rent-a-cops).

For the very short time my FD was a daily driver, I had to parallel park it in DC If you've ever seen cars that are normally parallel parked in DC, you'll know why the face... I LITERALLY (no joke, no exaggeration) would come outside and write down the license plate #s of the car in front and behind my car every hour or hour and a half...so if your dumbass scratched my bumper, backed into me, cut too sharp while parking, etc., I knew where you lived lol.

Eventually, things got much better because a) my friends started to park in front of and behind me, w/ some considerable space, and b) I finally got a garage parking spot. That was literally a Godsend...

John, I'm REAL sorry to hear about your car. Not once, but twice? Holy crap man. And the worst part that really scares me...it's not your daily driver...it was on the rare day you took it to work just cuz you missed it. I sooo know how you feel. But what are the odds that on THAT DAY your car would get hit? Go figure =(

I've always been worried about how I'd react if I was there when someone hit my car (parked or while driving). I'm really afraid I might just jump outta my car and literally beat down whoever it is...I'd go crazy Get my drift?? Lets just hope that day never comes...

Try Italy. I drove there for two weeks and consider myself an absolute expert on situational awareness. For example, an average Italian car is, say, 4 ft wide. An average Italian road is, well, about 6 ft wide. Somehow the Italians manage to fit two cars, side by side, and then all of a sudden a swarm of scooters and mopeds come flying in between you. It's quite an experience.

But, uh, I live in AL (Huntsville), and I have a friend from Los Angeles that tells me that people drive a lot worse here than they do in LA. Bham's not much better. No kidding, the people here are nucking futs. Combined with my bad temper, we have a very tricky situation when I get cut off or disrespected on the road.

Thanks guys. I won't be driving my FD to work anymore. I have now learned my lesson. The only good thing to come out of this is that I have a body shop that is going to "work with me" to get some other things taken care of. My car should come back even better off than before the accident.

Mods: Please move this to the "lounge"
