UPDATE

Ok for the past 2 days I been racing around some back roads testing my boost ( wasted a half a tank of gas in one day!!! ) and I've come to conclusion:

Boost is ALMOST always perfect in second gear ( I get a full 10 psi all the way to red line and it pulls hard.), Boost is ALWAYS perfect in third, fourth and fifth gear always a constant 10 psi and then it backs down to 8 psi just like it should. However in first gear I NEVER get 10 psi EVER. I've cone to the conclusion that my TCA is either bad or kinda gping bad. I cant see anything else it could be, the symptoms def point to that.

Sounds like the TCA is working properly. However, it sounds like your solenoids may not be... The TCA uses two solenoids to move the actuator quickly (a pressure side and a vacuum side). Sounds like one of the two isn't functioning as expected so the actuator cannot move quick enough for 1st gear.

Wow you are just always right! After driving the car for a while (about a month), I noticed that my boost is perfect 90% of the time. However sometimes when I boost, I will only get 7 psi and if I turn the car off and back on again, I will boost 10 psi again. This does sound like one of the two solenoids is sticking sometimes, I just cant see any other possibility. I'm gonna have to look into that, thanks

From my 1st post on this thread!

Anyways, since your using a used rats nest solenoids, ALWAYS, ALWAYS pressure check them with a boost and vacuum gauge. Testing with 12v for on/off isn't good enough. You have to make they hold the recommended pressures other wise you would have waisted your time.

The thing is that I did check all of the solenoid valves prior to re-installation. I used a multimeter and checked each and everyone for continuity and about 5 or 6 of them passed so I had to toss a few in the garbage. On all of the ones that did pass that test, I also checked them for resistance, and "ON'' "OFF" operation as well as an actual pressure test and I checked all 3 ports on each solenoid valve A, B and C and all of them passed that test.

The last thing I did was I waited 24 hours and tested all of them again to make sure they wern't sticking, and a couple of them did stick sometimes. So I ended up spending about 3-4 hours meticulously sanding down all of the terminals on each solenoid valve to clean up all of the resistance, and then rechecked them all again and they passed. As a final test, I waited another 24 hours and tested all of the solenoid valves again to see if they would stick, and none of them did, and they all passed.

I guess no matter how much you check them, sometimes they're just old and they need to be replaced to work properly. I wish I could afford to have bought 8 brand new solenoid valves but at $50 bucks a pop it makes it hard.
