You mean the Ikeaya formula sequential shifter yes you can but you are definitely going to hurt your synchros.

The price isn't too bad. The only thing will be how often you'll have to rebuild your tranny due to the harsh shifting???? That could make this a bad idea really quick if your killing synchros every 6 months or so. Just food for thought. Anybody know anything more about that??

well....i would of gotten one ALong time ago but it's for RHD cars....sure it will fit on the tranny but the level would be closer to pasen. side, so, it's really not worth it when you need to shift rapidlyd.

The ikeya shifter simply converts the shift pattern to that like a sequential shifter (forward/backward shift action, as oppsed to the traditional H pattern) - the clutch is still needed, so there would be no more stress on syncros then usual.

while the idea is reasonably good, the implementation is crap. who wants a shifter that towers over everything? if you're going to go sequential, do it right and don't use some adapter on a tranny that wasn't built for it. These things make me want to puke
