Ignition switch light and driver's door keyhole light on all the time....
Okay....so I went to take the car for a drive and the battery was dead. Charged it and noticed the keyhole light and ignition light were staying on.
Weird.
Seems like I remember a thread about this a while back but can't find it again...?
Help!

Keyhole light? Must be a usdm thing?
Anyhow, there's two wires connected to the lock cylinder inside the outer door handle. Theres a switch inside the lock cylinder that connects these two wires whenever you lock the door, therefore killing power to the ignition light. When these two wires fail to make a connection the ignition light will stay on (might also be true for the keyhole light). You can either repair the switch (sometimes just need a cleaning ala wd40), the broken wire(s), or simply just wire them both together internally to eliminate the light altogether.
