I have sold and installed many XS Power Packs. They work very well and a good alternative over the Twin Power.

I used to run the Ignition Solutions ignition on my car. It was good but not as good as the HKS Twin Power that I bought. I would just buy the HKS product. It works awesome for my gt35r single turbo at 15psi.

Good alternative..so in other words if you cant afford the HKS go with the XS Power Pack. But if you can get the HKS that'd be your first choice?

If it was me I would get the Power Pack and save some money. No difference between it and the twin Power.

Install is very easy. Splicing a couple of wires.

So what power levels has the twin power been used up to with good success?

with the install, make sure you get the harness (purchased separately) and it goes right inbetween the wire harness and ignition coils. you do not have to take off the throttle body elbow like i origninally thought!!! then mount that bitch (if you have the mini battery like me) where the original battery bracket was. for the ground, you mount it where the battery ground is. the length is perfect for that mount and litterally takes 10 minutes to mount.

Davin, sorry to break it to ya, but you just wasted $400.

I've said this MANY a time about the HKS Twin Power Ignition Amp (in fact, virtually EVERY time it's mentioned) that it's only useful when you NEED it. For a practically stock FD like yours, it's sitting there looking pretty, and that's about it. It's only on heavily modded cars (pretty much all the bolt-ons) that one experiences ignition breakup - and that's only at HIGH rpm. THAT'S when the HKS Twin Power is useful - and very so at that.
