Ignition Question

This is something that i have been thinking about as of late. Does the leading coils spark both rotors at the same time, the rotors are out of phase and at different times in the rotation. If it does how does it spark at the same time since the coil is on the same signal one signal say logically one spark. Also is it the same for the trailing? Thanks

Marc

There is a "waste" spark right as the rotor is about to pass the leading coil.

It seems a little before then, but here is an animation to show how it all works.
